About the JobJob Duties & Responsibilities:Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot and fix problems in fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems (e.g., carburetors, ignition, starters, hydraulics). Maintenance: Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, sharpening blades, and cleaning. Part Replacement: Repair or replace worn/defective components like pistons, gaskets, and pumps. Customer Service: Consult with customers, explain repairs, provide estimates, and show proper maintenance. Record Keeping: Document work performed, parts used, and inventory. Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment for testing or use (e.g., golf course equipment). Key Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machine operation and repair. Tool Proficiency: Skilled with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, compression gauges). Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes of failures (troubleshooting). Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and working with heavy equipment, often in noisy environments. Attention to Detail: Precision in adjustments and assembly (finger dexterity, steady hands).
