Watson Custom Tanks is hiring a Class B Grinder Operator to grind, finish, and repair welded vessel components to exact cosmetic and quality standards.What you'll doPrecision grind head-to-shell seams and blended welds (up to 180 grit / 30 Ra max)Remove arc marks, gouges, digs, lumps, and hook marks; restore cosmetic and structural integrityPerform surface prep, seam blending, and post-treatment repairs (including re-dye checks)Grind internal/external cylindrical, tapered, flat, conical surfaces; select wheels, speeds, feeds, and fixturesComplete QC documentation (traveler lines), support P.T. and repair work as neededWork safely with hand tools, lifts/hoists, and occasionally in confined spaces; follow PPE and safety proceduresWhat we're looking forP.T.
