Solutions Architect

Overview As a Senior Solutions Architect at Workato, you guide Fortune 500 customers through complex evaluations to enable enterprise automation and AI-powered orchestration. You translate technical concepts into business value and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive solutioning and proof of concepts. Your work shapes customer outcomes, contributes market feedback to product teams, and showcases Workato’s platform across IT, HR, Finance, and RevOps. You will engage executives and technical audiences, delivering compelling, tailored demonstrations and workshops. ResponsibilitiesLead technical discovery, design, and validation during the enterprise sales cycle using a consultative approachOwn solution demos, POCs, and proof-of-concepts (on-site or remote) to prove valueCollaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to drive technical sales stagesArticulate architectural concepts and AI use cases to a range of stakeholders including CIOs and IT leadersMap Workato capabilities (AI orchestration, agentic automation, Enterprise MCP) to enterprise objectivesDeliver tailored end-to-end demonstrations spanning apps, data sources, and business processesRespond to RFIs/RFPs and collect field feedback for product roadmap inputRepresent the platform at events and create thought leadership through blogs and webinars Key requirementsBA/BS or equivalent education3–5 years of pre-sales or solutions architecture experience in a SaaS environmentHands-on experience with iPaaS, enterprise integration, or automation technologiesExperience with Enterprise and Fortune 1000 customers in multi-stakeholder sales cyclesHands-on experience with integration patterns, web services, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, databasesCloud technologies experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with ERP/CRM/HCM ecosystems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)Familiarity with AI concepts, agentic automation, MCP, RAG, vector databases, and GenAI use casesKnowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP, GraphQL; understanding of mapping tech solutions to business outcomesStrong presentation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple enterprise evaluations and prioritiesCustomer-centric mindsetAdaptable and quick learner in AI spaceExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsiPaaS and enterprise integrationAutomation technologies, middleware, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPMCloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
