Material Handler

Rapiscan Systems | AS&E, based out of Billerica, MA, is hiring a Material Handler. Deliver material to appropriate storage and point-of-use locations to support manufacturing schedules. Set-up and organize inventory and storage locations within the facility. Support kitting and material breakdown activities. Ensure safety and housekeeping expectations are followed Work with Logistics Specialist to assist with packaging and crating of finished products for shipment. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications: High School Diploma. Min 2 years of experience operating a forklift truck in a manufacturing warehouse required. Forklift certification preferred (OSHA certification preferred). Large capacity Overhead Crane operation experience preferred. Warehousing / Inventory Control System experience preferred. Prior exposure to Lean manufacturing initiatives preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Will be required to follow safety guidelines and good manufacturing practices.
