Cloud DevSecOps Engineer

GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support the security, automation, and compliance of AWS cloud environments supporting mission-critical federal systems. In this role, you will implement cloud-native security controls, secure enterprise cloud workloads, and collaborate closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture and operational resilience.This position is ideal for hands-on cloud security engineers who enjoy working across AWS, automation, DevSecOps, and compliance-driven environments.What You Will Do in This RoleImplement and manage security controls across AWS cloud environmentsSupport Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and cloud automation initiativesSecure cloud workloads, APIs, storage, and networking componentsSupport compliance and regulatory initiatives aligned with federal requirementsMonitor vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts across enterprise environmentsCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve cloud security postureSupport security tooling, logging, monitoring, and threat detection activitiesHelp drive operational efficiency through automation and DevSecOps best practicesWhat You Will BringRequired Qualifications5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud security experienceExperience securing cloud-native architectures and AWS servicesExperience with IAM, KMS, Security Groups, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, and encryption technologiesExperience supporting DevSecOps or Infrastructure-as-Code initiativesExperience with security and vulnerability management tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Tenable, or enterprise firewallsStrong understanding of cloud security, risk mitigation, and compliance best practicesPreferred QualificationsFederal government or regulated industry experienceExperience supporting enterprise cloud modernization initiativesExperience with CI/CD security integrationCertificationsMust possess at least one of the following:CISSPCISMCISACRISCCAPCGEITThis position is part of a proposal
