Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description Maintenance Technician – 1st ShiftSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30/4:30 PMCompetitive Pay + Overtime AvailableWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems while supporting preventive maintenance initiatives that help drive operational efficiency and safety.This is an excellent DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment, machinery, buildings, and utility systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtimeSupport maintenance strategy initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvementUtilize CMMS (Brightly) system for work orders, maintenance tracking, and documentationMaintain facility systems including HVAC, compressors, heaters, plumbing, water systems, and office equipmentCoordinate with vendors, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments as neededEnsure maintenance quality standards, spare parts inventory, and calibration procedures are maintainedReport major equipment failures, safety concerns, and operational issues promptlyProvide technical support and assist maintenance team members as neededFollow and promote all company safety policies and proceduresQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree in a Technical Field or Journeyman Certification preferred3–5 years of commercial or industrial maintenance experienceStrong troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with HVAC, plumbing, industrial equipment, and facility maintenance preferredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience using power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipmentValid driver's license requiredForklift experience or ability to operate a forklift and company vehicle as neededMust be willing to work overtime and flexible hours when neededMust successfully pass a maintenance evaluation testPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfortable working around machine noise, metal dust, and varying temperaturesLabor Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
