We encourage you to embark on a fulfilling career with us!Position Summary:Key Responsibilities:Oversee the Resident Services Department staff, including C.N.A.s (Resident Services Assistants).Aid in managing the medication program and assist residents with self-medication.Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.Assist in the development of resident assessments and service plans.Support clinical assessments and recertifications in accordance with ALSA standards.Collaborate with the Resident Services Director in hiring and performance management within the department.Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.Attend scheduled in-service training sessions and team meetings.Help with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as necessary.Provide coaching and mentorship to associates in the Resident Services Department as needed.Assist residents and families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.Supervise RSA staff during care provision.Perform additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the relevant state(s).Certification in basic first aid and CPR.A minimum of two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.Preferred experience in assisted living or long-term care environments.A background or special interest in working with seniors is advantageous.Why You’ll Enjoy Working With Us:Competitive salaryFlexible work schedulesOpportunities for professional growthBonus and incentive programsComprehensive Benefits Package: including medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, paid time off, life insurance, insurance deductibles, and optional Aflac insurance for full-time employees.Licenses & CertificationsRequired:Employment AuthorizationPreferred:Registered NurseLicensed Practical NurseWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to protecting veterans and individuals with disabilities.
