Chemical Maintenance SupervisorIndustrial Manufacturing | Metal Plating OperationsLafayette, IN | On-Site | Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityPrevail Recruiting is representing a well-established, 50+ year-old industrial manufacturing company with a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships.This organization operates in a complex, process-driven plating environment and is currently entering a phase of operational growth and investment.They are seeking a Chemical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee chemical processes, maintenance operations, and environmental compliance across production.The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising chemical maintenance activities, supporting production uptime, and ensuring compliance across all chemical handling, waste management, and safety protocols.You will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, maintaining chemical systems, and leading a small team in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support chemical maintenance and production staffOversee plating tank chemistry, batch treatments, and tank changeoutsMaintain chemical inventory (daily, weekly, monthly)Manage hazardous waste handling and compliance (RCRA, DOT, etc.)Perform and oversee waste inspections and environmental safety protocolsSchedule and maintain filtration systems and chemical equipmentEnsure production uptime through proactive maintenanceCoordinate receiving, storage, and handling of chemicalsMaintain accurate logs, documentation, and reportingEnforce safety standards, PPE compliance, and housekeepingWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in chemical maintenance, plating, or industrial manufacturingStrong understanding of plating tank chemistry or similar process environmentsExperience supervising or leading teams in a production settingKnowledge of hazardous materials handling and environmental complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentForklift certification (or ability to obtain)Wastewater Treatment License (Class C preferred)Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $85,000 $115,000 (based on experience)Comprehensive Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company contributionGas card / company support perksPaid time off and holidaysLong-term career growth within a stable, growing organizationWhy This Opportunity50+ year-old company with strong market reputationStable business with consistent demandOpportunity to step into a key leadership roleHands-on impact on operations, safety, and performanceLocal, team-oriented environment with long-tenured employeesInterested CandidatesPlease apply with your resume.
