Science Summer Camp Lead Instructor
Club SciKidz MD offers science and technology summer camps for children ages 4-15 years in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery counties. We are hiring Lead Instructors to work in our camps at all of our locations. The Lead Instructor position is for certified teachers and other adults working in the field of education or childcare that have at least 2 years experience working with and leading a group of children.Our day camps run Monday-Friday, and staff are scheduled by the week. Staff hours are approximately 8:15-4:15 with one before and one after care shift each week. Pay for Lead Instructors start at $575 a week and is dependent on your experience working with children and the fields of science & technology. Certified teachers are $640 per week.We are looking for folks who:Enjoy working with childrenHave experience working with and teaching children; can lead a classroom of 20 childrenWant to help campers have a great summer as they learn science & technologyPassionate about providing children with hands-on learning experiencesAre reliable & hard working; have reliable transportationCan commit to work at least 5 weeks. Dates vary depending on location.
