Connor Co., a company rich in history, currently has an available Plumbing Showroom Sales position in Moline, IL. We are seeking a career-minded individual who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a great company. A background in plumbing, interior design, or the construction industry is preferred. Strong computer and customer service skills are necessary. Candidates must be: Available from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Principal Accountabilities:Demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests Answers customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and schedules appointments Estimate or quote prices, explain warranties, and delivery dates Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs Follow up on estimates and bids submitted to customers Provide customers with product brochures or catalogs Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support Monitor product innovations, competitors' products, pricing, and sales Process Return Goods and update the Returns Goods Queue Provide the Branch Manager with reports or additional tasks as requested Attend industry trade shows and product training when needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Education/Experience Required:High School Diploma required, or its equivalent Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience *Kitchen & Bath or Interior Design experience preferredRequired Skills and Abilities:Must be friendly and have a positive attitude Self-motivated Critical thinker-using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to learn the Eclipse software Must be very detail-oriented and focused on accuracy Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines Requires maturity and experience to interface with all levels of management, personnel, and customers Must have strong interpersonal communication skills Must maintain a patient and professional attitude while managing a busy workload Strong organizational skills required Must be able to determine and prioritize workload Willingness to travel If you are ready to join a company with a rich history and embark on a fulfilling career journey, apply today!
