Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & DeliveryLocation: Syracuse, NY 13215Shift: Mid Shift (12x3)Schedule: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PMHours per Week: 36Duration: 13 WeeksOverview:A healthcare facility is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its Labor & Delivery unit on a travel assignment. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, with the opportunity to float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Labor & Delivery settingPerform patient assessments and respond promptly to clinical needsCirculate during C-section procedures (scrubbing experience preferred)Float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units as requiredCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient careOperate effectively with minimal supervision after orientationRequired Qualifications:Active New York State RN license/registrationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the last 2 years) in an acute care facilityExperience in hospitals of similar or greater size/acuity (required for travel nurses)Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skillsLegal authorization to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug test, and background checkPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Experience in circulating C-sections (scrubbing preferred)Additional Requirements:No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claimsAbility to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflowsFor more details reach at jknox@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
