You’ll embed with client stakeholders, translate business needs into technical designs, and deliver secure, scalable software. The work spans design, development, testing (QA), DevOps, and production deployments (E2E). Healthcare domain familiarity (clinical data, medications, orders, labs, revenue cycle) is a plus.Responsibilities: -Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot on GCPBuild scalable backend services with Python and Java in a microservices architectureImplement messaging/streaming integrations using Kafka and GCP Pub/Sub; design for at‑least‑once/exactly‑once semantics and back‑pressure.Deploy and manage applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) with strong CI/CD practices.Model and optimize data access on Cloud Spanner; contribute to schema design, transaction strategies, and performance tuning.Own E2E quality: unit, integration, contract, and performance testing; drive high code coverage and automated quality gates.Collaborate across architecture, data modeling, security, and product teams; demo features, capture feedback, and iterate quickly.Document LLD/sequence diagrams, and contribute to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and re‑usable libraries.Support production (SRE/DevOps mindset): monitoring, incident response, and RCA.Experience: -5+ YearsLocation: -Remote (willing to travel periodically to dialysis care centers)Educational Qualifications: -Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.Skills: -Mandatory skillsStrong 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java (8+) and Python in production environments4+ years recent, hands‑on Spring ecosystem (Spring 4/5, Spring Boot 2+, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring REST).GCP hands‑on: GCS Buckets, Kubernetes (GKE), infrastructure and services usage in production.Cloud Spanner experience (or strong NoSQL exposure with Cassandra/Couchbase and proven ability to ramp).Microservices design & implementation at enterprise scale.Experience in building backend services and APIs using Python and/or JavaStrong testing discipline: JUnit5, Spring test (unit/integration), isolated layer testing, Hamcrest/AssertJ; mocking & debugging.Modern tooling: Git (enterprise workflows), Gradle/Maven, IntelliJ (preferred) or equivalent; CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Sonar).Clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration.Gen AI / Agentic AI exposure to build workflows and agents using ADK, A2A and MCPGood-to-Have SkillsWindsurf AI (developer productivity/AI‑assisted workflows).GCP Dataflow (batch/stream processing)US healthcare context—clinical data, medications, orders, labsAngular/React (recent production experience)Life at CitiusTechWe focus on building highly motivated engineering teams and thought leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset, centered on our core values of Passion, Respect, Openness, Unity, and Depth (PROUD) of knowledge.
