Java Backend Engineer

10+ years of professional software development experience in Java (Java 11/17/21).Deep proficiency with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud (or modern reactive/JVM frameworks like Quarkus, Micronaut, Vert.x).Strong experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures (Kafka / RabbitMQ).Solid background in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) including indexing, query optimization, and connection pooling.Solid understanding of concurrency, multi-threading, memory management, and distributed systems design patterns.AI / GenAI Integration ExpertiseHands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models via vLLM/Ollama, or internal model hubs).Practical experience with Java AI frameworks: Spring AI, LangChain4j, or building custom orchestration pipelines.Demonstrated experience with RAG patterns: document chunking, embeddings generation, vector search, and reranking.Understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON schema enforcement), tool/function calling, and AI evaluation frameworks.
