ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I with Security Clearance
JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I DEPARTMENT: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATIONS REPORTS TO: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME CLEARANCE: SECRET LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD, MD Job Summary: Electrical Technician I is responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations. Duties/Responsibilities:Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/componentsAssemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required. Basic Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information, attention to detail.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification. Physical Requirements:Manual dexterity and physical strength are necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneelingPerceiving differences in wire and indicator light colorsOperating hand and power toolsLifting, carrying, and/or moving tools, equipment, and components weighing up to 50 poundsWorking in confined spaces and around aircraftAscending and descending ladders or stairs as required The hourly range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education and training, job-related knowledge and skills, the scope and level of responsibility of the position, internal equity, and market/business considerations.
