Lead Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Tableau, data analytics, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will lead analytical initiatives, transform complex data into meaningful insights, develop interactive dashboards, and support strategic business decisions through data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities: Lead data analysis initiatives and deliver actionable business insights. Write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and analyze large datasets. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. Develop KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks to support business objectives. Perform data validation, data quality checks, and root cause analysis. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Lead and mentor junior data analysts. Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of business reporting.

Required Skills: Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization. Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, dashboard development, and data visualization. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing. Experience in KPI development, business intelligence, and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in stakeholder management and team leadership. Proficiency in Excel and data-driven reporting.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python for data analysis. Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar data platforms. Experience with Tableau performance optimization and dashboard governance. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
