JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Non-Invasive Cardiologist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: May 25, 2026 Ongoing (Minimum 6 months) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMCOVERAGE DATES • Starting May 25, 2026 • Minimum 6-month assignment • Coverage needed 1 2 weeks per month with weekend supportPATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: patients per day • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: Non-Invasive CardiologyFACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 265 • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard cardiology equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology onsite • Support Staff Available: 1 MD and 1 APP (Non-Invasive team) in addition to hospital-based Interventional and EP teams • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coveragePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for clean files • Credentialing Timeline: Minimum 90 daysCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per client policyREQUIRED PROCEDURES • Stress testing • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) • Cardioversions • Interpretation of echocardiograms, holters, stress tests, and EKGs • Cardiology consultsJOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required • Board: Board Certified in Cardiology preferred • DEA: Active DEA required • Certifications: BLS or ACLS required • Experience: Experience in non-invasive cardiology required • Other Qualifications: CTA reading preferredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide non-invasive cardiology services in a hospital setting • Interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests • Perform procedures including stress testing, TEE, and cardioversions • Collaborate with interventional and electrophysiology teams • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
