A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 2 positions available with immediate start • Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served • Provide quality care in an efficient and safe manner consistent with unit standards • Communicate clearly and appropriately to patients of all developmental ages • Handle emergency/crisis situations with ability to work varied hours • Must demonstrate knowledge and sensitivity to patients' rights in care delivery • Required certifications: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC or ATCN • CPI or equivalent certification preferred • Must be graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program • Physical requirements include prolonged standing/walking, heavy lifting for patient positioning, and manual dexterity • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays • Work environment includes potential for stressful professional relationships and schedule flexibility for emergencies Facility: This regional medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing emergency and trauma services to the community.
