RoleCPG (F&B) Business AnalystWork locationAtlanta, GABackground and Meet and GreetMANDATORYJob DescriptionThis is Mid to senior role combining business analysis and solution architecture• Focused on building an agentic AI chatbot solution on Microsoft Azure• Primary purpose is to enable conversational access to R&D and formulation data stored in existing relational databases• Deep engagement with food & beverage consumer packaged goods (CPG) R&D, formulation, and product development teams• Role emphasizes requirements discovery, scope expansion, and identifying new AI-enabled opportunities beyond initial use cases• Acts as a bridge between scientific users, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teamsKey Responsibilities•Proactively lead client communications, interviews, and workshops.•Engage R&D, formulation, and innovation stakeholders to understand:oFormulation development and optimization workflowsoPain points in accessing and interpreting data•Elicit, analyze, and document:oFunctional and non-functional requirementsoUser stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.•Create, manage, and groom backlog.•Translate business and scientific needs into:oClear solution designs and architectural inputsoBacklog items and delivery-ready requirements•Lead architecture and design of:oUIs, UX workflows, paper prototyping, etc.oAzure-based agentic AI systemsoConversational/chatbot interfacesoData retrieval from relational data sources•Collaborate with engineering teams on:oAI agent orchestration and tool usageoData integration and access patternsoSecurity, scalability, and performance considerations•Proactively identify:oNew AI use cases within R&D and formulationoOpportunities to broaden solution scope and value.•Support roadmap definition from initial data retrieval chatbot to more advanced reasoning, insight generation, and decision supportWhat are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?•Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering – 5•CPG Domain Knowledge (Food & Beverage R&D) – 4•CPG R&D Workflow Understanding – 3•Agentic AI Azure Solution Architecture (Azure OpenAI / Foundry / AI Search) – 4•Communication & Stakeholder Management – 5•Relational Databases & Data Modeling Concepts – 2/3What are the Optional skills and skill proficiencies for this position?•Agentic AI / Multi-Agent Systems Architectures – 3•Conversational AI / NLP Systems – 3•AI Governance / Responsible AI Concepts – 2•Consulting or Discovery-Phase Project Experience – 4•Regulated or Scientific IT Environments – 3
