Information Technology Support Specialist
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support to employees across office and manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and ensuring reliable operation of IT systems.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career or with a few years of experience who is looking to grow in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheralsRespond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional mannerSet up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and softwareInstall, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systemsSupport Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)Assist with basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, printers, Wi-Fi issues)Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurationsSupport onboarding and offboarding of employees (equipment setup, access provisioning)Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as neededAssist with inventory tracking and asset management of IT equipmentProvide on-site support in office and manufacturing environments, including cleanroom areas as neededRequired Education and Experience EducationAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferredEquivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience will be consideredExperience1–5 years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experienceExperience supporting end users in a professional environment preferredSkills/Knowledge/Abilities:Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 and user account managementUnderstanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a team
