Job Description Description:JOB SUMMARYThe Caf&eacute; associate ensures customers receive the highest level of customer service possible by taking employee and customer orders in friendly, efficient and polite manner.Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&middot; Serves as a customer service contact for all employees and customers at the caf&eacute;, including answering questions, welcoming, and other communications&middot; Process and prepare food/drunk orders&middot; Follow all food safety guidelines&middot; Responsible for running the cash register&middot; Follows caf&eacute; policies and procedures&middot; Assists in keeping the caf&eacute; area clean, neat and orderly at all times&middot; Maintains all required training, city, state certifications.&middot; Responsible for other duties as assigned&middot; Ability to show up to work on timeREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES&middot; Must be highly motivated&middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills&middot; Excellent management and leadership skills&middot; Good organizational skills&middot; An understanding of food and beverage operations&middot; Must be able to workdays, evenings, and weekends as necessary- Full-time position and required to fill in when needed.REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE&middot; Experience in food and beverage service is preferred&middot; Experience in the hospitability industry is preferred&middot; High school diploma required&middot; Must be able to pass a Background check
