Job Description Description:JOB SUMMARYThe Café associate ensures customers receive the highest level of customer service possible by taking employee and customer orders in friendly, efficient and polite manner.Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Serves as a customer service contact for all employees and customers at the café, including answering questions, welcoming, and other communications· Process and prepare food/drunk orders· Follow all food safety guidelines· Responsible for running the cash register· Follows café policies and procedures· Assists in keeping the café area clean, neat and orderly at all times· Maintains all required training, city, state certifications.· Responsible for other duties as assigned· Ability to show up to work on timeREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES· Must be highly motivated· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Excellent management and leadership skills· Good organizational skills· An understanding of food and beverage operations· Must be able to workdays, evenings, and weekends as necessary- Full-time position and required to fill in when needed.REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE· Experience in food and beverage service is preferred· Experience in the hospitability industry is preferred· High school diploma required· Must be able to pass a Background check
