As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our physical therapy team to provide high-quality patient care and help our residents achieve their maximum physical potential.Responsibilities And DutiesRecord patients' responses to treatments and report outcomes to physical therapistsMaintain a clean and organized treatment areaInstruct, motivate, and assist patients in practicing exercises and functional activitiesPrepare for each patient's therapy sessionAssist with patient transportation and ordering suppliesAnswer phones and complete paperworkFamiliarize yourself with patients' Plans of Care and relay concerns to physical therapistsAdminister balance and muscle strength testsRequirementsGraduate from an accredited PTA school and certified in the state of FloridaProfessional and ethical team player with CPR certificationBasic knowledge of all modalities, including goniometer and dynamometer operationAbility to assist with patient lifting, pulling, and pushingCompassionate, caring, and patient-focused with a desire to help patients achieve their maximum physical potentialBilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to write in EnglishAdditional InformationSalary: $40/hourJob Type: Per DiemWhy Join Our Team?At North Beach Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and a supportive work environment.
