Nuclear Construction Project Manager
OverviewA growing advanced energy developer is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, first-of-a-kind industrial facilities at a federal site. This role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to oversee design, construction execution, and project delivery.The position will start remote but will transition to regular site presence during design and full-time on-site support during construction, with a longer-term office planned in the Idaho Falls area.Key ResponsibilitiesEPC & Construction OversightSupport oversight of design-build packages, including site layouts, early works, and issued-for-construction documentsCollaborate with internal leadership and EPC partners to drive project executionManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, non-conformances, and field documentationParticipate in and lead construction progress meetingsProject Controls & IntegrationTrack milestones, schedules, and project performance using tools such as Primavera P6Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, changes, and key project metricsCoordinate sequencing across engineering, construction, and commissioning teamsSafety, Quality & CompliancePromote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to site requirementsSupport quality assurance and configuration control processesAssist with regulatory documentation and compliance effortsReporting & Stakeholder CoordinationProvide project updates, risk tracking, and recovery plansSupport design reviews and constructability planningMaintain project documentation throughout design and constructionQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field~5+ years of experience managing design and construction on large industrial or government projectsExperience with scheduling and cost control tools (Primavera P6 preferred)Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and leadership skillsPreferred:Experience supporting nuclear, DOE, or regulated infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with quality programs (e.g., NQA-1) and safety standardsPMP certification and/or OSHA trainingBackground coordinating EPC contractors and multi-stakeholder environmentsAdditional DetailsMust be willing to relocate to the Idaho Falls region and support ongoing site work (~55 miles from town)U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible for security clearanceCompensation: ~$135K-$150K base + bonus + equity participationComprehensive benefits package included
