Account Executive (Walmart)

We produce high-quality product lines of mattresses, adjustable bases, and sleep accessories to provide a better quality of life to our customers.Job Summary: The Account Executive will be responsible for overseeing and growing our 1P and DSV accounts with Walmart. This role will require a deep understanding of Walmart's systems and processes, as well as the ability to drive sales and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, experience with Walmart's retail platforms, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Walmart's 1P and DSV teams, managing day-to-day communications, and ensuring alignment with Walmart's goals and strategies.Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, increase market share, and maximize profitability within Walmart's retail ecosystem.Inventory & Forecasting: Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure product availability across Walmart's platforms.Promotional Planning: Work closely with Walmart's merchandising teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility.Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize account performance.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with Walmart's operational standards and reporting requirements, including accurate and timely submission of product data, pricing, and performance metrics.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to support product launches, promotional activities, and supply chain efficiencies.Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at Walmart, including buyers, planners, and supply chain partners, to ensure ongoing collaboration and partnership growth.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably with a focus on Walmart or other major retailers.Deep understanding of Walmart's 1P and DSV models, including systems such as Retail Link and Supplier Center.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large retail accounts.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with retail analytics tools.
