NoSupervisory Responsibility NoJOB SUMMARYElectrical Component Assembler JOB DESCRIPTIONSUMMARY:Perform electrical assembly and related tasks to support Powered Scaffolding equipment and accessories. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• With no supervision completely wire and test equipment to using electrical schematics and test travelers. • Assist in solving electrical problems being generated from branches, customers and field service as needed. • Assist engineering department in up-front design of electrical requirements. • Assist production in the assembly of electrical systems and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring using crimping devices and soldering. • Tests operation of all electrical devices such as relays, contacts, controls, etc. • Complete the assembly of both simple and complex components-without supervision. • Complete the fit, function and testing of assembled components. • Complete quality inspections and testing of electrical-mechanical devices per written work instructions. • Perform 5S daily and continuously work to improve the performance of the work cell. • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned or directed. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints, GD&T. • Ability to help with design of above. • Knowledge of all aspects of motor control circuits. • Versed in safety regulations regarding operation and testing of powered scaffolding equipment. • Knowledge of proper soldering techniques. • Understanding of electrical measuring devices such as multi-meters, amp-meters, and oscilloscopes. • Good knowledge of electrical theory. • Good troubleshooting skills in absence of documented drawings. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or Equivalent.Vocational or formal electrical training.5 years of experience in related field.
