RPA Developer / Automation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer / Automation Engineer to analyze, develop, and support robotic process automation (RPA) solutions across IT and business functions. This role will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining automation solutions while supporting the overall RPA infrastructure and architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on RPA experience, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and implement RPA bots using Automation Anywhere or similar platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Kofax) following established development standardsAnalyze, maintain, and support existing RPA applications for IT and business usersMonitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize efficiencyReview bot scripts developed by onsite and offshore teams to ensure quality and adherence to best practicesIdentify and resolve automation defects, including debugging, testing fixes, and deploying solutionsPartner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend optimal automation solutionsConduct proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate automation feasibility and business valueSupport RPA infrastructure, including capacity planning and disaster recovery strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and global development partners to deliver high-quality automation solutionsDocument technical designs, processes, and implementation detailsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years of software development experience2+ years of hands-on experience with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere (preferred), UiPath, Blue Prism, or Kofax2+ years of project management experienceStrong experience with system analysis, requirements gathering, and application implementationExperience with testing methodologies, test case creation, and executionWorking knowledge of systems development standards and proceduresBasic understanding of cybersecurity concepts related to automationProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsExperience with Document Automation and/or Agentic AITechnical experience with SQL, Java/Web technologies, REST APIsFamiliarity with Agile or Kanban methodologiesExperience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, ANTKnowledge of responsive/adaptive development and iSeries DB2Core CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levelsAbility to quickly learn and assess new technologies and their business impactProven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadershipStrong time management skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAdaptability and a proactive mindset toward change and continuous improvementAdditional RequirementsWillingness to travel as neededAbility to work required schedules and maintain regular, reliable attendanceSuccessful completion of background check and drug screening
