Valve TechnicianJob Location:Cadiz, OH.Gonzales LA - Needs to have a TWIC card or be willing to get it before being hired.POSITION SUMMARYPerforms maintenance, repair, and testing of various valves including relief valves, control valves, tank vents, etc.ESSENTIAL DUTIESFollow safety and quality proceduresCleaning, blasting, and painting of various valve componentsOperate equipment blaster, parts washer, torch, forklift, and other related equipmentPerforms re-machining or lapping of critical partsPerform field work as neededSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not require supervisory responsibilities.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESMust be able to read measuring devicesMust be able to document and enter job dataStrong mechanical aptitudeDemonstrate problem-solving skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting 50+ pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment for this position is typical for a warehouse including occasional exposure to loud noise and outside temperatures of heat/cold.
