This role is responsible for supervising security personnel, executing access control procedures, and ensuring consistent enforcement of security standards in a mission-critical, multi-tenant environment.The Security Lead serves as the on-site supervisor and primary point of accountability for security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage. This role ensures accurate documentation, proper incident response, and audit-ready practices, while coordinating with Operations and Infrastructure teams to maintain a secure and controlled environment.What You DoSecurity Operations, Staffing & Access ControlOversee daily security operations and supervise security officersOwn scheduling and staffing coverage to ensure consistent security presence across all shiftsEnforce access control procedures including badging, visitor access, and escortsManage access lifecycle including badge issuance, changes, and revocationEnsure accurate and complete access logs and documentationMaintain consistent application of site procedures and post ordersIncident Response & CoordinationRespond to and manage on-site security incidentsEnsure proper escalation, containment, and documentationSupport incident investigations and follow-up actionsCoordinate with Operations during site-impacting eventsEscalate issues and risks to the Security ManagerAudit Support & Site StandardsMaintain audit-ready documentation and access recordsSupport internal, customer, and regulatory auditsEnsure professionalism, cleanliness, and organization in security-controlled areasParticipate in site emergency response activities and drillsCustomer & Site LeadershipServe as the on-site leader for the security teamSupport customer access and ensure a professional, controlled site experienceParticipate in tours and site visits as neededLead by example and maintain accountability across security staffSystems Awareness & CoordinationMonitor and report issues with access control, CCTV, and alarm systemsCoordinate with Operations and Infrastructure to support secure site activityWhat Makes You a Good Fit3+ years of experience in physical security or related fieldExperience in a supervisory or lead role preferredExperience scheduling staff and managing coverage in a 24x7 environmentStrong understanding of access control procedures and site security operationsExperience with incident response and reportingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsPreferredExperience in data center or mission-critical environmentsFamiliarity with access control and CCTV systemsExperience supporting audits or working in regulated environmentsWhat Success Looks LikeConsistent staffing and coverage across all shiftsReliable execution of security procedures and access controlAccurate documentation and incident reportingStrong team performance and accountabilityProfessional, customer-ready security presenceApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or transfer sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.***NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
