Licensed Practical Nurse This position delivers direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other providers, administering medications, monitoring conditions, and documenting care in the EMR. It supports a collaborative healthcare environment in Independence, MO with occasional travel to Overland Park, KS. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under RN supervision Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Monitor patient conditions and report changes Document patient information, treatments, and care plans in EMR Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality outcomes Educate patients and families on treatment plans Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program Active Missouri LPN license required Compact nursing license or active Missouri and Kansas LPN license required Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team Preferred Skills: Minimum of 1 year LPN experience Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with Matrix EMR
