Job TitleGuidewire DBCC Data Integrity Specialist (PolicyCenter & BillingCenter)Overview / SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire DBCC (Data Integrity) Specialist with expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving DBCC errors in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter. This role focuses on ensuring data integrity, system stability, and production support by proactively addressing DBCC issues and preventing recurrence.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze DBCC (Database Consistency Check) errors in PolicyCenter and BillingCenterIdentify root causes of data inconsistencies and integrity issuesResolve DBCC errors using Guidewire-supported approaches (scripts, Gosu, SQL updates where applicable)Ensure consistency across policy, billing, and financial dataValidate fixes to prevent downstream impacts on rating, billing, and reportingMaintain auditability and compliance during data correctionsIdentify recurring DBCC patterns and implement preventive solutionsRecommend data validation rules and process improvementsAutomate DBCC monitoring and alerting where possibleCollaborate with business analysts, architects, and offshore/onshore teamsDocument root cause analysis (RCA), fixes, and best practicesSupport knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiativesValidate fixes through functional and regression testingWork with QA teams for verificationRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in Guidewire implementation/support projectsHands-on experience resolving DBCC errors in PolicyCenter and BillingCenterStrong understanding of Guidewire data model and entity relationshipsExperience with Gosu scripting and Guidewire StudioKnowledge of Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementationsStrong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server)Experience in data correction scripts and database debuggingUnderstanding of transactions, data integrity, and referential constraintsGood understanding of P&C insurance (policy lifecycle, billing, payments, commissions)Experience in Commercial or Personal Lines preferredAbility to validate fixes through functional and regression testingExperience working with QA teams for verification
