Director of FPandA
The client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA) to take a leading role in shaping the financial strategy and driving performance within a rapidly growing organization. This role involves managing forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning. The Director will deliver data-driven insights to executive leadership and build advanced financial models to support strategic decisions. Additionally, collaborating with operations to drive profitability and creating key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track business performance are crucial responsibilities. Mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team is also an essential part of the position. The ideal candidate will have between 8 to 12+ years of progressive FPandA experience, with a strong background in managing teams and cross-functional initiatives. Candidates should possess excellent financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience in high-growth, high-volume environments preferred, particularly those ranging from $250M to $1B+. A strong proficiency in advanced Excel and financial systems is required, along with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial leaders effectively. Educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Microsoft Dynamic 365, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is advantageous. Strong skills in advanced Excel, business intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau, and financial planning tools such as Adaptive and Anaplan are also highly desirable for successful applicants.
