G/L Expert/Payroll/South Indy
AccuPay is a Greenwood based payroll/HR services firm which provides "white glove" payroll/HR services to over 1,100 central IN employers ranging in size from 1 owner S corps to employers with hundreds of employees. We compete daily with ADP and other national payroll/HR providers and focus on both our industry expertise and local customer service skills to differentiate ourselves from our national competitors. Our employer-clients rate us 4.9 on Google reviews and our most recent customer satisfaction survey scored us 4.92 out of 5 as to overall satisfaction with AccuPay. We currently seek a person with G/L accounting and payroll expertise to collaborate with our payroll specialists' team in mapping out payroll JE's to clients' unique G/Ls and labor department reports, as well as processing client payrolls as needed. We use both Isolved and UKG HRIS softwares with which to serve our clients. AccuPay just celebrated our 30th anniversary and currently employs 21 people, each of whom takes pride in serving our clients with excellence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and payroll, have an aptitude for HRIS technology and custom report building, can build G/Ls in either Quickbooks or other accounting softwares, enjoys collaborating with a team, is "joyful" and takes pride in their work/serving clients. Multi-tasking in a fast paced office environment and customer service skills are essential in this position.
We will only hire somebody who lives within 20 minutes of our office at County Line and Emerson Ave. We do have a hybrid work environment once somebody has worked in-office for at least 6 months. A "perfect fit" for this position can choose between FT and PT hours. Prior experience with a CPA firm or payroll company would be helpful in this position, or somebody who has experience as the "one person bookkeeper/payroll/HR" department with a local company would likely be a good "fit" for this position
