Structural Engineering ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design and execution of structural projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery, ensure compliance with building codes, and manage risk assessment processes, while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the structural engineering team in the design and analysis of various projects.Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and regulations.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for engineering projects.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project specifications and requirements.Oversee the preparation and review of engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.Provide quality assurance and ensure that engineering practices meet industry standards.Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff within the team.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus BUT not required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of structural design principles and practices.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.Experience with construction management and materials science.Excellent project management and risk assessment skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.
