Tech Etch operates facilities in Plymouth, MA, Fall River, MA, and Litchfield, MN.About The JobThe Quality Control Inspector conducts in-process inspection sampling of manufactured parts, incoming inspection on parts and supplies used for the manufacture of products, First Article Inspection, and final product verification.SHIFT: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Inspect products using scopes, gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, micrometers, calipers, and vision prior to shipment. Compile both dimensional and non-dimensional results on worksheets and evaluate them for compliance. Verify final parts and reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments. Interact with source inspectors as needed. Test incoming raw materials. Interpret drawings, specifications, and additional customer requirements. Competencies Basic Mathematics. QualificationsKnowledge of quality control/inspection functions in a manufacturing environment. Experience with basic measurement equipment and/or techniques. Preferred Education And ExperienceKnowledge/experience of industry including medical device. Experience with advanced measurement equipment such as CMM. Experience with compliance reporting. This is the full salary range for the position.
