Accounting Contractor

Our client, a well established Dallas area organization, is looking to bring on accounting contractors to support a large scale systems and process transformation project. They’re seeking senior accountant level contractors with strong corporate accounting experience and prior exposure to ERP implementations, data conversion work, reconciliations, cleanup efforts, and process stabilization initiatives.This is a long term, project focused environment where contractors will help support day to day accounting operations while also assisting with broader implementation related work.The role will operate in a hybrid work environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in an office setting as needed. Apply ASAP for immediate consideration.Responsibilities:Support data conversion and implementation related accounting activitiesAssist with reconciliations, data validation, cleanup efforts, and process supportHelp stabilize accounting operations during a large scale transition initiativePartner with accounting, finance, and project teams throughout the engagementSupport month end close and ongoing accounting operations as neededAssist with testing, reporting, and other project related initiativesIdentify discrepancies and help resolve data and process related issuesRequirents:Strong corporate accounting backgroundPrior experience supporting ERP implementations or conversionsExperience with reconciliations, close support, and data integrityworkAbility to work independently in a fast paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsComfortable adapting in evolving, project driven environmentsLarge company experience is a plusThis is a great opportunity to join a long term project with a well-established organization and be part of a major initiative impacting the business.
