Communicating part issues and restock requests with department Lead.EducationA high school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience1-3 Years of kitting, material handling, receiving experience, preferredKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesIndividuals in this position are expected to have a thorough knowledge of plant layout, warehouse mapping, equipment applications, material requirements and good inventory control practicesPersons shall demonstrate competency when using computers (Oracle and Windows) and various printersIndividuals should exhibit strong communication and organizational skillsEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPhysically pulls product required on work orders.Picks product from stock/issues components to WIP (Work in Progress).Provides advance information to production coordinator regarding shortages, etc.Utilizes KANBAN system (as appropriate) to identify outagesStrives to reduce kitting error and quality issuesReports substitutions and BOM (Bill of Materials) corrections to production coordinatorComplies with all quality assurance procedures and policies to ensure best quality product outputStrives to improve departmental efficiencies and reduce cost through continuous improvementKnows and adheres to Company policies and proceduresFosters goodwill with all internal customersAdheres to established inventory control systems and computer trackingStrives to maintain high level 5s in Kitting areaMust demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety) performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal complianceWorks overtime as assignedComplete all duties as assignedWork Arrangement : OnsitePay Range: $19.00 - $19.00 per hourBonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.We consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
