Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) 1099Multiple Locations Across Southern CaliforniaOverviewWe are seeking experienced Physicians (MD/DO) to join a rapidly growing, high-quality urgent care organization known for its modern facilities and strong clinical support. This is a 1099 independent contractor role offering excellent flexibility, competitive pay, and opportunities for leadership growth.Physicians enjoy autonomy in scheduling, malpractice coverage including tail, and the ability to work across multiple locations within a defined radius.IncentivesProductivity Incentive (starting 2026):Target: 36 patients/day$30 per patient for each patient seen above 36Malpractice Insurance: Covered, including Tail CoverageBenefits: None (1099 role)Schedule & CommitmentShifts:Standard shifts: 9:00 AM 9:00 PM (12 hours)Weekend shifts may be 6 hoursFull-Time:3 shifts/weekMust work either Saturday or Sunday each weekPart-Time:1 2 shifts/weekMust work Friday, Saturday, or SundayMinimum Requirement: 4 shifts per monthFlexibility:Weekend availability required for all rolesWeekday schedules can be flexible and even set if desiredScheduling:Monthly schedules providedFull-time physicians may receive schedules up to 3 months in advanceLocationsCandidates will be considered for all locations , with priority needs in:Downtown LAMontebelloHollywoodCamarilloNorthridgeWest HollywoodVeniceWest HillsPasadenaView all locations here:Location FlexibilityPhysicians may be asked to float between locations as neededTravel radius typically no more than milesOne location per day (no mid-shift site changes)Full-time providers usually have a designated home basePart-time providers have a primary site but may support nearby weekend locationsResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality urgent care services in a fast-paced clinical environmentSupervision of PAs may occur but is unlikely initiallyMaintain compliance with clinical and credentialing standardsRequired QualificationsExperience:Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or a higher-acuity settingBoard Certification (one of the following):American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) CertifiedABEM Board EligibleBoard certified by an ABMS or American Osteopathic Board member
