The pharmacy emphasizes one-on-one relationships, high-quality standards, and a supportive community environment for both patients and team members.Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Pharmacist position located in Oviedo, FL. The Pharmacist will dispense and verify prescriptions, including compounded medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients and caregivers on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions, as well as providing immunizations and supporting medication therapy management. The role involves collaborating with technicians and other team members to maintain efficient workflow, overseeing prescription processing, and contributing to quality assurance in compounding. The Pharmacist will also help coordinate services such as blister packing, delivery, and curbside support to provide a consistent, patient-centered experience.Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD or equivalent) in good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy, with authorization to provide immunizations or willingness to obtain certification.Strong clinical knowledge in community pharmacy practice, including counseling on prescription, OTC, and vaccine therapies.Experience or interest in compounding (human and veterinary) and a commitment to maintaining sterile and non-sterile compounding standards.Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, prescription processing, insurance adjudication, and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, one-on-one patient care in a diverse community setting.Strong attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing, and sound judgment in identifying and resolving medication-related issues.Ability to work collaboratively in a small-team environment, support technicians, and adapt to varying workflow demands.Availability to work part-time shifts, including some evenings or weekends as needed to support pharmacy operations.Prior retail or community pharmacy experience preferred; compounding pharmacy experience is a plus.
