Window and Door Installer (Construction Assistant)
Department/Division: Field Services Reports to: Field Services Manager Location: Wichita, KS
Position Type/Hours: Full-time I M-F I 8:00a - 5:00p
Shift: 1st
Overtime: As Required
Travel Requirement: Regional travel required FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
In this role you'll be exclusively installing Pella windows and doors in a variety of settings including Residential remodel and new construction, yet with an emphasis on Commercial applications. We offer a premium product and aim to deliver a premium experience for our customers. Every project will offer variety, as you may be leaning on trim carpentry skills one day and standing in a boom lift on a commercial site the next. To be successful in this role, you must be able to think outside the box and react quickly to keep projects moving on schedule.
Responsibilities
Install windows and doors in residential and commercial environments
Take direction and understand instruction from the Crew Lead
Complete jobs onsite to Pella installation guidelines and customer satisfaction
Manage time and materials to stay on schedule
Communicate effectively with internal and external customer to keep everyone on the same page
Minimum Qualifications
High School/GED
1-2 years residential construction and/or remodeling experience
Clean driving record
Basic construction related math skills
Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA certified
Finish carpentry experience
Building Construction experience
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The employee will frequently work from a ladder up to 30’ in the air and/or scaffolding, or exposed to working in buildings and window openings up to 10 stories high with all proper safely equipment and measures in place
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and lift.
