Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Location: Lyman, SC
Hours: 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday, typically 3:30pm - 2:00am

Position Summary:
Machine Operators at AMAMCO Tool & Supply, Inc are responsible for manufacturing, inspecting, and maintain precision carbide cutting tools used in aerospace applications. This role requires strict adherence to engineering prints, quality procedures, and standards to ensure tools meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Read and understand print specifications for lengths and point angles.
Read and follow QAC instructions for Cutoff, Rough Point, Squaring.
Check lengths using calipers and/or optical comparator.
Check Point Angles using optical comparator.
Dress/maintain grinding wheels for required surface finish.
Check diameters with micrometer
Required & Preferred Qualifications:
CNC and/or manual grinding experience are a plus.
The ability to efficiently use inspection equipment, such as calipers and micrometers is required.
Experience grinding carbide is also a plus.
An ideal candidate would be a motivated individual with integrity that can learn quickly.
