Efficient time management and a sense of urgency are critical to being successful. This position requires a mechanical understanding and aptitude particularly in the area of control valves and piping.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesInterface directly with customers via phone and email to provide engineered solutions, technical support, and order managementEngineer complete solutions for customer process control needsWork with the Application Engineering team to learn the technical aspects of the job as well as the principles of account managementManage the complete sales cycle including pre-sales engagement and prospecting, engineering, quotation development, order processing and administration, product assembly and shipment, invoicing, and paymentDocument information related to customer requestsManage project documentation and technical submittalsDevelop a proficient understanding of our business system, including the ability to investigate problems and suggest creative solutionsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Be enrolled in an accredited university and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in EngineeringWorking knowledge of word processor and spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel and Word).Working knowledge of database programs (i.e. IFS, Salesforce, Outlook) preferable.Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required.Must be very customer focused.
