The Events & Catering Server plays a key role in delivering exceptional service for meetings, weddings, and special events—ensuring each guest experience is seamless, thoughtful, and elevated.This role brings hospitality to life through attentive service, professionalism, and a strong team-oriented approach.Requested TasksProvide attentive and professional food and beverage service during banquet and catered eventsSet up and break down event spaces in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Serve meals, beverages, and courses in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained throughout eventsRespond promptly to guest requests and anticipate guest needsMaintain knowledge of menus, ingredients, and event detailsCollaborate with Banquet team members to ensure seamless event executionFollow all service standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelinesAssist with resetting rooms between events as neededRequested CapabilitiesPrior experience in banquets, catering, or restaurant service preferredStrong guest service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentProfessional, polished, and service-focused demeanorAbility to follow instructions and maintain attention to detailAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidaysRequired to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objectsAble to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 poundsAs part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
