Welder/Fabricator/Fitter
Job Overview
Accuracy Laser & Fabrication is a growing metal fabrication and laser cutting job shop looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our team. We work on a variety of projects across automotive, automation, conveyance, and data center industries. No two days are the same. This is a hands on role where you'll be welding, fitting, and assembling laser cut and formed components into finished assemblies. We run a technology driven shop with a 12kW fiber laser, tube laser, and programmable press brake, so you'll be working with precision parts and modern equipment.
Our Priorities
Safety is our number one concern. Every person goes home the way they came in. Quality comes second. We take pride in the work that leaves this shop, and our customers count on it. Speed comes third. We work efficiently, but never at the expense of safety or quality.
Duties
MIG welding as the primary process, with TIG and stick welding as needed

Fitting and assembling laser cut and press brake formed components into weldments
Using common welding and fabrication tools including grinders, clamps, squares, levels, tape measures, and band saws
Measuring and verifying parts with calipers and other basic precision instruments
Maintaining quality standards. Your welds need to look good and hold up.
Keeping your work area clean and following shop safety practices
What You'll Be Doing
Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities involving steel fabrication or assembly
Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, soldering, and other welding techniques
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations
Ability to operate power tools such as press brakes, pipe threaders, grinders, and hand tools efficiently
Knowledge of rigging operations, crane safety procedures, and forklift operation preferred
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of pipe threading, machining processes, ductwork fabrication, and ASME standards
Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and assembly of complex components is highly desirable
What We're Looking For
Welding experience preferred. Pay will be based on your skill level and experience.
All candidates will complete a weld test as part of the hiring process
Ability to read build prints and basic fabrication drawings
Comfortable using technology on the shop floor. We use computers for viewing 3D models and drawings, and our equipment is CNC driven. You don't need to be a tech wizard, but you need to be willing to learn and adapt.
Solid work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Basic math skills for measurements and layout
What We Offer
Competitive pay based on experience
Opportunity to work with modern, high end fabrication equipment
