Maintenance Technician (Electrical) - North Vernon, IndianaContract position (potential direct position for the right candidate)Pay Rate (with shift differential included): $30.00 per hourAvailable Shifts : 2nd ShiftJob Description/Overview of the Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position:Provide technical support in the area of software and hardware as it applies to Automation in the manufacturing area. REPORTS directly to the Controls Coordinator.Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position:Participate in design, development, procurement, and launch of automation and automated equipmentContinuous Improvement of equipment controls (control modifications/upgrades/troubleshooting)Supports Production Operations with all maintenance and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems such as (but not limited to) 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, machine automation, and robotsAnalyzes, solves problems, and maintains all plant equipment using sound troubleshooting techniques and repair methodologyWork from available mechanical and electrical drawings and equipment specifications and schematicsAssist with research of parts as necessaryPerform preventative, predictive, and routine inspections, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up instructions, blueprints, and electrical printsCompletes charts and other simple documents to communicate to the teamMaintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulationsRequired Skills of the Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position:ISO 9001/IATF 16949/ISO 14001 CompetenciesAwarenessAccurate listeningAgile PLM System communicationsComputer ApplicationsCritical EvaluationElectrical EngineeringEthical PracticeHealth & SafetyInterpersonal skillsIntuitive Decision MakingPractical ThinkingProject & Goal FocusExperience and Educational Requirements of the Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position:Two or more years of experience/knowledge in manufacturing process controlsA working knowledge of hardware/operating computer systemsAllen Bradley and/or Fanuc controls expertise preferredAssociate or Bachelor degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience in these areasA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.By applying for this role, you confirm that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
