They are in need of a Controller / VP of Finance to take the lead in their finance and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the fund administrator for all closings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Limited Partnership Agreements. This role involves a range of tasks, including managing capital activity, overseeing the quarterly valuation process, and coordinating tax compliance. The Controller / VP of Finance will also be tasked with managing banking and treasury operations, implementing and enhancing financial systems, and producing various reports to support fundraising and due diligence.Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in fund accounting, with a strong background in private equity partnership accounting and US GAAP. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in admin portals and accounting ERPs are essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in coordinating third-party providers and delivering accurate financial reporting. Experience with consumer brand IP and licensing/royalty accounting is a plus.
