Senior IT Project Manager | Contract | Onsite LOCAL ATLANTA CANDIDATES ONLY.Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives within a structured PMO environment. This role requires a strong blend of technical project delivery, stakeholder leadership, and vendor management across multiple workstreams.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable driving alignment across cross-functional teams while maintaining strict timelines and high-quality deliverables.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects and programsDevelop and maintain core project artifacts including:Project plans and schedulesStatus reports and executive briefingsRisk and issue logsPartner with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful outcomesManage third-party vendors, ensuring accountability, performance, and timely deliveryDrive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and decision-making across teamsCoordinate across internal IT teams and external partners for seamless executionDeliver projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies, adapting as neededProvide clear, concise communication to executive leadership and project stakeholders Required Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of PMBOK and Agile frameworks, with the ability to apply both effectivelyProven ability to manage complex technical projects, including web-based applications and enterprise systemsExperience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Demonstrated success managing vendors and third-party partnersExcellent communication skills with strong executive presenceAbility to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignmentStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsProficiency with MS Project, JIRA, and/or similar project management toolsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field8+ years of progressive IT project management experienceExperience leading highly technical teams and delivering complex systemsPrior experience working within a PMO environment preferredCertificationsPMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferredPosted By: Maya Russo
