Structural Drafter
Are you a detail-oriented structural drafter with a passion for creating practical, high-quality designs that make an impact? We’re looking for an experienced Structural Drafter to join our Civil and Environmental Resources team. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and architects to deliver precise, constructible designs for a variety of industrial, municipal, and renovation projects.

Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Prepares the necessary structural drawings for items to be constructed in the field using Autocad. All drawings must be done according to company standards.
Prepare layouts to determine detailed dimensions and check clearances.
Coordinates the structural designs with the other disciplines to avoid potential conflicts.
Reviews the dimensional data on vendor information and makes necessary changes to the design drawings.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Technical Trade School diploma in relevant field
5+ years of experience in structural drafting
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and/or Revit, strongly preferred. Candidates without direct experience must demonstrate the ability and willingness to complete training and develop proficiency necessary to perform essential job functions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience working with a consulting firm preferred
Municipal water/wastewater and industrial and/or building renovation experience preferred
Produces record drawings when requested.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as requested, i.e. performs construction observation, and goes into the field to obtain dimensions for design projects.
Reviews structural shop drawings with minimal supervision.
