In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.ResponsibilitiesYou will provide outstanding customer service through answering phone calls, internal communications, and patient meal deliveryYou will assemble, coordinate, and deliver patient mealsYou will assist patients with appropriate meal selections, considering the patient's diet order, food allergies, and food preferencesYou will educate patients on dietary restrictions and refer patients who require additional information to the clinical dietitian for follow-upYou will perform a variety of routine duties and roles ranging from cold food production, café service, catering set-up, dishwashing, and cashieringRequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalentCurrent Washington State Food Handlers CardMinimum one (1) year previous relevant experienceAbout Capital Medical CenterMultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.65 - $31.42 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
