The EPS Specialist ensures specialized changes and materials are communicated to the production team. This person will assist in the building, installation, and shipping of all EPS units, performs advanced customer support activities, and performs related duties as assigned. Reports to: Production Manager for all general daily activities General Manager for sales-related activity Examples of Duties and Responsibilities: The ability to read plan drawings and project specifications, and make independent submittal decisions regarding both; Review engineer-reviewed submittals and make appropriate changes and respond accordingly to the engineer's questions. Provides national sales teams with project Submittals and provides timely follow-up to questions. Provides technical support where applicable. Collaborates with sales, operations, engineering, manufacturing, service, and marketing to drive business process improvement, demonstrate exceptional customer satisfaction. Submits accurate, prompt reports for workflow status. Performs warehouse duties including but not limited to shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Involves manager promptly on issues of importance. Collaborates effectively with staff and has excellent interpersonal skills. Performs office/sales duties as needed. Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations. QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES: Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following: Experience/Training/Education: Associate’s degree in applied general studies is preferred or equivalent work experience. Competent computer skills in Microsoft Suites and operating systems. advanced experience and training in assembly, installation, service, and repair of all product lines; has trained in safety policies and procedures. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with customers, engineers, distributors, vendors, contractors, governmental representatives, and internal personnel. Ability to assess customer service needs and prepare quotations. Ability to interact with customers to develop and strengthen business relations. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize duties throughout the day. Ability to plan, schedule, organize, and prioritize work without supervision. Considerable knowledge of all product lines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Advanced knowledge of basic assembly and repair procedures and principles of hydraulics. Computer literacy and able to learn job-related software programs. Ability to work in confined spaces. Knowledge of company products, pricing, and technical specifications. Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, stretch, bend, lift, move, and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less. Ability to move heavier objects with the assistance of others or by using mechanical devices. Ability to operate a motor vehicle; and Ability to perform essential functions of the job, as defined. o.
