Winery Facility Janitor

DescriptionJob Summary:The Winery Facility Janitor (Outdoor Focus) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of exterior winery spaces. This role ensures that outdoor areas such as grounds, walkways, patios, and event spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities:Clean and maintain outdoor areas including patios, terraces, walkways, parking lots, and event spaces Sweep, hose down, and pressure wash surfaces to remove dirt, debris, grape residue, and spills Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins throughout the property Set up and break down outdoor areas for tastings, tours, and special events Clean outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and fixtures Maintain landscaping cleanliness (remove leaves, weeds, and debris; light groundskeeping tasks) Monitor and clean high-traffic areas during busy hours or events Ensure pathways are safe and free of hazards (wet spots, broken glass, etc.) Assist with harvest (crush season) cleanup, including outdoor production areas Restock supplies in outdoor restrooms or service stations Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work on uneven terrain (gravel, grass, slopes) Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods Work Environment:Primarily outdoors in a winery setting Exposure to sun, heat, cold, wind, and occasional rain Fast-paced environment during weekends, events, and harvest season RequirementsPrevious janitorial, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, blowers, and hoses Strong attention to detail and reliability Schedule:May include weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons
