Job Title: Client Partner ManufacturingLocation- Chicago ILRole SummaryThe Client Partner Manufacturing is responsible for owning and growing strategic manufacturing accounts by acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. The role focuses on account farming, client relationship management, revenue growth, and solution positioning across digital, engineering, cloud, data, and enterprise services within the Manufacturing vertical.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Account ManagementOwn and manage one or more strategic manufacturing accounts (Discrete / Process Manufacturing ).Build strong C-level, VP, and Plant leadership relationships across IT, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.Act as the single point of accountability for overall client satisfaction, growth, and governance.Drive quarterly and annual account planning, reviews, and executive governance .Revenue Growth & FarmingDrive organic growth through cross-sell and upsell of services and solutions.Identify new opportunities within existing accounts (new plants, geographies, LOBs).Meet or exceed annual revenue, margin, and growth targets .Manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal qualification.Solution & Value SellingPosition solutions across:Digital Manufacturing / Industry 4.0Smart Factory, IoT, MES, PLMERP (SAP / Oracle), Cloud, Data & AnalyticsEngineering Services & Application ModernizationTranslate client business challenges into technology-led value propositions .Lead proposal strategy, commercials, and contract negotiations.Delivery & Stakeholder AlignmentPartner closely with delivery, pre-sales, and solution teams to ensure successful execution.Ensure delivery excellence, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.Proactively manage risks, escalations, and client expectations.Market & Industry ExpertiseMaintain strong understanding of manufacturing trends including automation, digital twins, sustainability, and supply chain resilience.Bring industry best practices and benchmarks to client discussions.Required QualificationsBachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).12 18+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or engineering services.5 8+ years in a Client Partner / Account Director / Client Manager role.Proven experience managing large manufacturing accounts ($10M+ portfolio) .Strong background in account farming and relationship-led growth .Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals.About ApTask:ApTask is a leading global provider of workforce solutions and talent acquisition services, dedicated to shaping the future of work.
